Marcel Pauls

Marcel leads the EY Defense Center of Expertise and coordinates service offering to clients in the defense industry in Europe. He is also responsible for the deal origination of the global EY Reshaping Results Community.

During his time at EY, Marcel gained experience in Performance Improvement, Business Planning, PMO, etc.

Previously, Marcel served as an officer in the German Air Force and built a broad defense network in his role as aide-de-camp (personal assistant), during his deployment in Kabul/ Afghanistan and as a change management officer.

Born in East Germany, with vivid memories of the “wind of change” during German reunification, he graduated from the University of the Armed Forces in Munich after high school. While there, he also attended courses in military economics.

Marcel lives with his family in Hamburg/ Germany and is honorary chairman of the “Bund der Danziger e.V.” and is thus committed to German-Polish international understanding.
