For more than 20 years, Bart has provided board and C-suite executives with actionable insights and guidance in addressing their most significant challenges. He is a frequent speaker at  board and corporate governance conferences and has written extensively about important board topics. 

Before joining EY, Bart held senior research and advisory roles at several professional services firms, most recently at the National Association of Corporate Directors

Bart has a PhD in government and master’s degrees in political theory and international relations from the London School of Economics and a BA in political science from Colgate University.
