Tom is one of the global subject-matter advisors on board governance, risk appetite, three lines of defense, enterprise risk management and risk culture in the EY Financial Services Office. He has participated in extensive dialogue with board members, chief risk officers, supervisors and industry groups on these topics.
He brings close to 25 years of experience advising clients on requirements, industry practices and supervisory expectations for risk governance and internal control in the financial services sector.
In recent years, Tom advised a number of domestic and foreign banks, as well as other significant nonbank financial institutions, on projects designed to enhance their risk management frameworks to meet new regulatory requirements and emerging industry expectations.
He holds a BS in Finance and Accounting from New York University.
