Commercial Director, Virgin Galactic
What if we could book a ticket to Space? Stephen Attenborough advocates the importance of opening access to Space for the benefit of life on Earth. In 2004, he received an invitation from Richard Branson to join Virgin Galactic — which is on track to become the world's first passenger carrying commercial spaceline — as the company's first full-time employee. Over the years, Stephen has been involved with developing the commercial foundations of the business and creating a new market for private space travel. His work with Virgin Galactic has now attracted around 700 future astronauts from more than 50 countries along with US$80m in deposits.
