EY has been recognized by HFS Research as a leader among consulting organizations in providing Internet of Things (IoT) services for enterprises in its “HFS Blueprint Report: Internet of Things Services 2018.” The report, which assessed 27 major IoT service providers, reviews organizations’ overall performance in execution and innovation.

The report notes that in EY there is considerable IoT experience based on the completion of more than 500 engagements. HFS also cited EY for a technology-agnostic focus, which gives EY clients ultimate flexibility in choosing a provider with which to collaborate, and based on EY client feedback, for speed-to-insights for operationalizing data analytics quickly and cost effectively.

Jim Eastlake, HFS Research Analyst, says:

"EY stands out amongst the competition due to the IoT engagement experience and implementation strengths. They excel at advising and guiding clients throughout a project. Clients are very positive about the high EY standards in IoT services.”

The report notes EY strengths in emerging technologies, especially the ability to link IoT implementation with technologies such as blockchain, and the use of EY wavespace™ global growth and innovation centers to drive a transformational approach to IoT services.
