EY has been recognized as a leader for supply chain management consulting by ALM Intelligence in its 2019 report, The ALM Vanguard: Supply Chain Planning Consulting (pdf)

The report evaluates the depth, breadth and client impact in supply chain consulting services, which include planning, capital projects, production strategy, production operations, asset management, logistics and sourcing strategy. According to the report, the leaders are unique in their ability to independently execute a broad array of projects across the full spectrum of client contexts.

Particular factors highlighted in the ALM assessment were the EY alliance and go-to-market approach with leading business transformation specialist Oliver Wight EAME LLP with its asset-backed solutions.

Glenn Steinberg, EY Global and EY Americas Supply Chain Leader, says:

“Supply chains are strategic differentiators, and must meet customer service levels at the lowest cost and with the highest operational efficiencies, in ways that are nimble, flexible and efficient. We are committed to working with clients to help them leverage their supply chain to solve real business problems with the right combination of digital technologies – whether that’s artificial intelligence, automation, or additive manufacturing – and through collaborations with strategic alliances.”

Naima Hoque Essing, Senior Research Analyst, Management Consulting Research, ALM Intelligence, says:

“The EY Supply Chain Reinvention model offers a successful and consistent framework for achieving both in-function and cross-functional operational excellence.”
