EY volunteers facilitate “Money & Me” program for 2021 virtually

EY has completed the “Money & Me” program for 2021. The financial literacy program in collaboration with The Edge Education Foundation.

EY recently completed the Money & Me: Youth Financial Empowerment Program for this year, an initiative by The Edge Education Foundation (TEEF). EY support of the program is in line with one of the EY Ripples goals - to support the next generation. 

Unlike previous years, this year’s program was conducted virtually. In June, EY kicked off its first of 10 lessons with 16 Form 4 students from SMK Convent Sentul via Google Meet.

EY volunteers facilitated the learning sessions by taking the students through each module, exercise and activity. The students were encouraged to contribute and participate in the online discussions and quizzes. All materials were provided to the students via Google Classroom.

“Money & Me” is a financial literacy program that seeks to equip youths from low to lower-middle income households with basic financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills, to empower and help them discover potential economic opportunities for the future.
