Ben Trask

Partner, EY-Parthenon, Turnaround and Restructuring

EY-Parthenon Partner. Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Licensed Insolvency Practitioner. Lives and works in Vienna. Family man with wife and two young children.

Ben is the restructuring leader for the Central, Eastern and Southern Europe Region and for Austria. He joined EY as a Partner in 2019 with over 20 years of experience in restructuring, turnaround, insolvency, and corporate finance advisory.

Before joining EY, he was a Partner at another Big 4 consultancy firm in Austria. Most recently, he led the Austrian practice's debt advisory and financial services advisory businesses in Vienna. Prior to that he worked in the UK, leading complex advisory and turnaround projects. He has significant international experience including successful cross-border transactions in Dubai, Bermuda, the US and Central and Eastern Europe. Furthermore, he has experience supporting debtors and creditors (including a 12-month secondment to Barclays Bank) across a variety of industries and sectors.

Ben has a degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics.
