With a career spanning more than two decades in India, Asia and Australia, Rohit Rao is the lead partner for EY’s Financial Services Cybersecurity Solutions in Asia-Pacific. Over the past 20 years, Rohit has worked with clients in multiple geographies, in particular financial services, and has a deep understanding and experience across consulting and business transformation.
Rohit has successfully led large and complex cybersecurity and technology risk programs and focuses on providing practical business outcomes. In doing this, Rohit has helped establish and scale EY FSO Oceania cyber services including leading successful teams. Rohit is well respected for his client focus and consistent collaborative approach and currently sits on EY Oceania FSO DE&I Board.
How Rohit is building a better working world
Rohit strives to activate personal purpose and greater social responsibility from those around him, and he promotes greater social equity through his teaming qualities. This includes facilitating open conversations at his team meetings to help create a better understanding for all.
As an active member of the EY DE&I Advisory Board, Rohit has recently become involved as a champion for social equity, one of the areas currently identified as a priority for the firm globally. Rohit has also been a sponsor of the recent cultural review that the global EY organization has undertaken which will have a significant impact on workplace culture and building an environment where everyone feels accepted and respected.
Rohit is committed to building a more sustainable world. Through EY Ripples, he is able to put his ideas into action, engaging his team to participate in tree planting programs, which ultimately contributes towards creating a more sustainable future for us all.
