Jim Rai

Jim Rai has spent the past 22 years in the legal arena, rising from an outdoor clerk to one of the senior equity partners at Winckworth Sherwood, advising a diverse range of business sectors from property development to banking. He qualified as an alternative dispute resolution mediator in 2006 and has led some of the United Kingdom’s prominent class actions.
Since 2016, Jim has been a strategic advisor to Peace One Day, a nonprofit organization that has launched a disruptive social media platform known as Impact Profile. It is the first profiling system to measure and showcase an individual’s legacy of positive impact within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Jim is currently involved in number of projects within the AI, robotics and biosynthetics sectors, with an emphasis on health and social impact. His debut motivational book, … and then you’re dead!, was released by Bloomsbury Publishing in 2016.
