EY Bulgaria announces an upcoming change in its management team, organized in a way to ensure continuity and stability in the work with teams and clients.
After 25 years of successful professional career with EY, Naiden Kostadinov will step down from his roles as Tax & Law Service Line Leader of EY Bulgaria and EY Europe Central South Business Unit, to begin a new chapter both professionally and personally. His decision is personal, while the subsequent transition to the new leadership has been carefully planned in close collaboration with the company’s management team, with a clear focus on business sustainability and seamless succession.
Over the years, Naiden Kostadinov has made a significant contribution to the development of EY’s Tax & Law practice in Bulgaria and the other countries from Europe Central South Business Unit, including Greece, Romania, Cyprus, Malta, North Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo and Moldova. During his career at EY, Naiden Kostadinov has been involved in numerous strategic projects and transactions across different EY markets, contributing to the substantial expansion of the scope and expertise of the services EY provides in the region.
“My decision is entirely personal and carefully considered. EY has been and continues to be a very important part of my professional life. I am proud of our achievements, the teams we have built and the trust of our clients. I am withdrawing from EY with great satisfaction and confidence in the future of the organization. I am grateful to all colleagues and clients I had the pleasure to work with over the years. Your support and trust have been the foundation of the success we achieved together,” said Naiden Kostadinov.
As of 1 July 2026, the leadership role of the Tax & Law Service Line in Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo will be assumed by Viktor Mitev, Partner at EY Bulgaria, who has over 15 years of experience with the firm and extensive expertise in tax advisory and international transactions. In recent years, he has led teams in Bulgaria, Albania, North Macedonia and Kosovo, and has played an active role in expanding EY’s services and market presence in Bulgaria and the region.
Viktor Mitev and Naiden Kostadinov are working closely to ensure a smooth transition for both teams and clients.
“I take on this role with respect for what has been achieved and a clear sense of the responsibility it carries. My focus remains on people, the quality of our expertise and client trust - the foundations of a sustainable business,” commented Viktor Mitev.
The company emphasizes that the change will not affect EY’s ongoing commitments to its clients and partners. EY Bulgaria continues to operate with a long-term vision, stable leadership and a consistent focus on the development of its people and business in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment.
