Petya is a Partner at EY Bulgaria, where she leads audit engagements for financial institutions as well as trading and production companies. She oversees audit strategy, reviews audit programs, and performs comprehensive analyses of Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, and local regulatory requirements.
She joined EY in 2002 and has since built extensive experience in audits of banks, insurers, pension funds, trading companies, real estate entities, and manufacturing businesses. Over the years, she has also taken part in major asset quality review projects locally and internationally and has contributed to engagements involving credit file reviews and IFRS 9 implementation.
Petya holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Finance and Trade from the University of Portsmouth. She is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and a Bulgarian Chartered Accountant (CPA).
