Dan is EY’s Global Customs Leader for the Government and Public Sector, driving innovative solutions for customs administrations. Dan leads the development of business and advisory services collaborating with audit, transactional and taxation services, as well as EY’s NextWave Global Trade team. He is responsible for positioning EY as a trusted advisor to governments around the world, focusing on the US Department of Homeland Security and the US Customs and Border Protection and Customs-related functions.

He has worked in over 30 countries in the public and commercial sectors, focusing on services spanning from supply chain security and resilience, strategy, systems development and modernization, restructuring and organizational transformation, to policy reform. Dan has led engagements supporting client operations and full lifecycle system and IT development, and in the evaluation of emerging technologies.

He holds a double-degree BA and an MBA in International Finance and is a certified Project Management Professional.
