Passionate about entrepreneurship, Raquel dedicates her career to supporting entrepreneurs in developing and expanding their businesses through mentorship, acknowledgement and connections.
As a partner of the relationship programs of EY Brazil, Raquel is responsible for the relationship with Endeavor and leads EY programs that support entrepreneurship.
For four years now, she has been in charge of the Entrepreneurial Winning Women, identifying a select group of female entrepreneurs with high potential to receive support through the knowledge, resources and access that they need to expand their businesses.
Since January 2019, Raquel has also been a leader, in Brazil, of the EY Entrepreneur of The Year, which acknowledges entrepreneurs for their ability to navigate challenges and explore opportunities with innovative solutions. Selected locally in 60 countries, these “entrepreneurs of the year” meet annually in Monaco during the World Entrepreneur of the Year (WEOY), one of the most prestigious events celebrating global entrepreneurship.
Raquel joined EY in 2009 as a Tax partner in the individuals area, assisting mid- to large-sized corporations in matters related to immigration and international assignments, being responsible for the development of the EY Immigration area in Brazil. In addition, she was in charge of leading large projects in the oil and gas sector, as well as the 2016 Olympic Games mobility project.
Raquel is also an entrepreneur, having managed her own business for 10 years (1997 through 2008).
