EY’s HK$1 million donation marks the first step in its unwavering and continuous support for the Tai Po fire relief efforts

EY Greater China Region (EY) expresses its deepest condolences to the families and communities affected by the devastating fire in Tai Po, Hong Kong. In response to the disaster, EY has pledged a donation of HK$1,000,000 to the “Support Fund for Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po” set up by the Hong Kong SAR Government to support urgent relief, recovery needs and government-led recovery initiatives.

This HK$1,000,000 donation marks the first step in our ongoing support for the affected and those in need. In addition to monetary support, EY is setting up a volunteer team comprising EY people to participate in both immediate and long-term recovery initiatives. EY is also actively collaborating with business communities, clients and external stakeholders to organize resources across industries to support the HKSAR Government’s relief efforts.

EY would also like to extend its profound gratitude and respect to all firefighters, medical professionals and law enforcement officers working tirelessly on the front lines of rescue and relief efforts.

EY will continue to monitor the situation and assess evolving needs, reaffirming its commitment to contributing to long-term recovery and rebuilding efforts led by the HKSAR Government.
