Alan has over 20 years of experiences providing cybersecurity and data privacy consulting services to multinational corporations and local organizations across various industry segments, including financial services, government, energy, education, gaming and hospitality, healthcare, transportation and conglomerates.
He advises the financial institutions on addressing fintech risks and cyber regulatory requirements, and he assists regulators in establishing and implementing industry-wide cybersecurity standards.
He holds a Doctor of Business Administration degree from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Alan is a frequent speaker in the industry, sharing the latest perspectives in cybersecurity and privacy.
Dedicating his personal time to contributing to the cybersecurity and data protection community, Alan actively contributed to several key publications. He served as a development team member for the Privacy Principles and Program Management Guide and Implementing a Privacy Protection Program, published by ISACA in 2016 and 2017 respectively. He was also one of the two expert reviewers for ISACA’s GDPR Data Protection Impact Assessment, which was published in 2017.
