Benny Cheung is the Managing Partner of the EY member firms in Hong Kong and Macau, overseeing all aspects of business operations in these locations. He has 30 years of professional experience advising local and multinational financial institutions across the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong, with extensive experience in assurance, strategy and consulting services. He regularly advises clients on matters relating to initial public offerings (IPOs), restructuring and due diligence.

Benny also serves as the EY Greater China Financial Services South Market Leader and Financial and Currency Connect Leader for the “Eight Connects in the Greater Bay Area (GBA)” framework under the EY Greater Bay Area Center of Excellence. He has been actively involved in policy studies supporting the development of the GBA and helping clients capture opportunities arising from its continued growth.

As a seasoned financial services professional, Benny is a strong advocate for Hong Kong as an international financial centre, advising foreign enterprises on seizing opportunities across the region.

Benny is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a member of the CPA Australia and a member of the Hong Kong Academy of Finance.
