As the EY Japan Chairman & CEO and Japan Regional Managing Partner, Koichi Tsuji leads member firms and plays a vital role in elevating the presence of EY in Japan. Koichi has more than 30 years of professional auditing experience, serving multinational corporations and financial institutions, including international experience gained in Zurich, Switzerland.
Koichi became a partner of Ernst & Young ShinNihon LLC in 1996. In his previous role, he was a member of the EY Global Account Committee, which manages EY’s key clients. In addition, he served as the Japan representative on the EY Global Governance Council. He is also a member of the EY Global Practice Group, a group of EY’s world leaders, and the EY Global Diversity & Inclusiveness Steering Committee.
Koichi is a Japan certified public accountant (CPA), and received an MA in Economics from Waseda University, Japan and a BSc in Accounting from Chuo University, Japan.
