Based in Irvine, CA, Prakash leads Ernst & Young LLP’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) practice. With over 26 years of experience, he is an ERM veteran who focuses on the design and deployment of customized risk solutions for several Fortune 100 and not-for-profit companies in the US and emerging markets.

Prior to joining the global EY organization, Prakash was the Head of ERM at a $12 billion health insurance company serving 1.4 million New Yorkers. Before that, he was the Director of ERM for a health solutions company.

As an adjunct professor, Prakash taught ERM courses at Columbia University and Yeshiva University and is currently associated with USC Marshall School of Business. Prakash holds a Master of Science degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Manitoba in central Canada and a Bachelor of Arts degree with a triple major in mathematics, applied mathematics and statistics from the Nizam College in south India.
