Throughout his professional career, Sahala has more than 20 years of experience serving clients from the infrastructure and financial industry in Indonesia. He has a deep knowledge of the government and private sector and currently leads the Lead Advisory of EY ASEAN.
His competencies cover Merger & Acquisition Advisory, Transaction Integration, Transaction Support, Buy-side & Sell-side Due Diligence, Post-deal support, Feasibility Study and Business Planning, as well as Performance Improvement.
He has advised the government and the state-owned companies in various issues including the divestment of government’s assets to foreign companies, acquisition of companies both in Indonesia and overseas, and developing strategic roadmap for various industries and companies.
He earned a degree in Economics from the University of Indonesia and a Master of Business Administration from the Western Illinois University, USA.
