Bobbi Mahlab leads a content marketing agency that produces content and content strategies for associations and brands across multiple platforms – content hubs, magazines, video, blogs, social media and e-newsletters. Mahlab Media is an editorially-led agency, expert at understanding audiences and creating content that resonates with and engages them. It also helps organizations to become publishers by developing their content platforms. It has a highly commercial focus, including a sales team that generates revenue from the content it produces for clients.
Mahlab Media was honored to be named a finalist for Content Marketing Agency of the Year in 2014 by the Content Marketing Institute, one of only eight agencies globally. Content marketing is a natural progression of Bobbi’s career that started in marketing before training and working as a newspaper journalist for many years.
Bobbi loves the business of business and gets great satisfaction from the continual and sustained growth of her business over the past 17 years and from taking the skills she has gained to the not-for-profit boards she is involved with including the Sydney Women’s Fund and Detour House which provides refuge for women and teenage girls. She has two sons who love making things and lives in Sydney.
