Ganesh Kumar Bangah
Founder and Executive Chairman, Commerce.Asia
Ganesh Kumar Bangah is a serial entrepreneur, startup investor and the EY Technology Entrepreneur of the Year 2012 Malaysia.
He is the Executive Chairman of Australian-listed Netccentric Limited that owns the largest influencer platform in Malaysia, Nuffnang, with a community of 13,000 influencers. In 2017, Ganesh founded Commerce.Asia, an all-in-one eCommerce ecosystem with a database of over 8,000,000 SMEs across seven countries, with 61,000 active sellers that processed a gross merchandise value (GMV) of RM1.5 billion in 2019.
Prior to founding Commerce.Asia, Ganesh founded MOL Global Inc. which he built to become South-East Asia’s leading online payment gateway and South-East Asia’s first internet company to be listed on the NASDAQ. In 2003, Ganesh was certified as the youngest Chief Executive Officer of a Malaysian public listed company.
Ganesh is the immediate past Chairman of PIKOM, a Board Member of MAGIC and a member of PEMUDAH.
