Anne Tham is the Group Founder and CEO of Sirius International (M) Sdn Bhd. What started out as private tuition classes in her own home in 1995 has since flourished into two international schools – Sri Emas International School and the first entrepreneurial school in Malaysia, Dwi Emas International School – as well as multiple learning centres in the Klang Valley. Under her leadership, the company has not only grown into one of the premier education providers in the country, but has also branched out and diversified its business.
In 2016, Sirius International will launch “ChemCaper”, the world’s first Chemistry roleplaying game. It was selected by Google as a highlight of the Android TV platform at Google I/O ’15 in San Francisco earlier this year.
Anne’s business ventures have garnered awards such as the Asean Business Award for SME Innovation 2015 as well as recognition worldwide from prestigious institutions, with SME 100 Fast Moving Companies and Cambridge University Students’ Union among them.
