Ernst & Young Consulting Sdn. Bhd. has launched its AI Innovation Center here, a strategic move set to amplify Malaysia's AI capabilities. This dynamic hub is designed to accelerate the adoption of AI technologies across various sectors, fostering an environment of innovation and collaboration.
The AI Innovation Center is a nexus of three core components: the AI Lab, AI Academy, and AI Research. The AI Lab provides a secure space to test and refine AI concepts; the AI Academy is dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations with AI knowledge; and AI Research is committed to advancing the frontiers of AI solutions.
In an effort to enhance AI proficiency on a national scale, the centre will work closely with esteemed industry bodies, including TalentCorp and the Asian Institute of Chartered Banks (AICB).
Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Digital said, "The AI Innovation Center by EY is a monumental stride in our nation's journey towards technological excellence. It complements the government's ongoing initiatives to nurture AI development, positioning Malaysia as a hub of innovation and a competitive player in the global AI arena."

It is a testament to our commitment to nation-building and driving progress through technological innovation."
EY continues to be a proponent of knowledge exchange, with a focus on enhancing expertise in multiple domains, including AI. This commitment is exemplified by the recent collaboration with Universiti Malaya to enrich AI-related curricula and courses, ensuring a future-ready workforce.
