Stephan is a Partner with Climate Change and Sustainability Services at Ernst & Young AG. He leads the Advisory practice within Climate Change and Sustainability Services.
Over the past years, he has led a broad array of Sustainable Finance projects (e.g., EU Taxonomy, SFDR, MiFID II, Green Deal mappings) and climate strategy projects.
He was also in the lead of numerous ESG Reporting and supply chain due diligence related projects triggered by EU (CSRD) and Swiss (RBI) regulatory requirements in the Energy and Financial Sector (incl. CSRD double-materiality assessment, gaps to CSRD and CS3D and the Swiss specific provisions).
Prior to his five-year focus on sustainability, he has led a broad array of projects related to Corporate Governance, Compliance and new European Regulations (e.g., design of compliance management systems, reorganizations, MiFID, Compliance cross-border frameworks, Outsourcing, data protection etc.)
