The race to achieve the 2030 and 2050 EU climate goals while ensuring energy security demands a paradigm shift. The current challenges in financing and implementing large scale renewable energy projects requires new approaches. EY and NVDE are joining efforts to move the needle on this matter. This event brings together EU and Dutch leaders from the energy and finance sectors, fostering discussions on current hurdles, showcasing opportunities, and exchanging invaluable insights on the rapid adoption of large-scale renewable energy solutions in the Netherlands.

Join us for this event packed with deep insights and discover how you can play a role in shaping the energy landscape of tomorrow. Hear from our EY thought leaders and senior energy transition champions across the sector, and join the discussion with an interactive plenary session and breakout deep-dive sessions throughout the morning.

This event will be moderated by Jan Peter Balkenende, External Senior Advisor to EY.

  • Workshop CSRD beyond reporting

The CCaSS workshop will focus on the integration of CSRD into the company's core strategies and processes. The implementation requires a deep understanding of how CSRD objectives align with the company's goals, values and culture. Are you ready for CSRD?

    Speakers:

    Gül Hamers, Partner at EY

  • Workshop Energy storage through batteries

In this workshop we provide you with an update of the current policy and future expectations of energy storage through batteries and would like to interactively discuss with you which way is it going. We touch upon the upcoming regulatory framework concerning the reduced transport tariff, congestion management, group-ATOs and GOTORK. We include the tax aspects to take into account in your business case, such as the energy tax, CO2 tax and the EU ETS.

    Speakers:

  • Workshop Public Funding for the Net Zero Economy

To accelerate the transition to a carbon neutral, net zero economy, a proliferation of incentives exist – from cash grants to fiscal incentives. To obtain and retain such incentives is a skill in itself as it requires insight, perseverance and planning – but when done well can be tremendously rewarding as it can lower CAPEX, solidify partnerships and speed-up innovation. This workshop will provide insights in the current and upcoming public funding landscape for renewable energy and will allow participants to engage in experience-sharing with industry peers.

    Speakers:
Gerben Wedekind, EY Partner | Grants & Incentives
Kelly Talan, Manager - Grants and Incentives at EY
