I like to help my clients make international work successful for both employers and employees

Rianne van Halem

EY Nederland Senior Manager Tax

Driven. Relationship-oriented. Involved. Has extensive knowledge of the field and knows how to proactively translate new developments to her clients.

Rianne works in the global mobility practice and supports multinational companies with all tax and social security aspects related to cross-border employment.

Additionally, Rianne is a knowledge manager for EY People Advisory Services Netherlands. In this role, she closely follows developments and ensures that colleagues and clients are informed about them.

She studied Fiscal Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam and has been working at EY since 2006.

Rianne deals with various questions and developments in the field of international wage taxes. This ranges from people who have just graduated and are taking their first steps in the (international) labor market to very experienced executives, and everything in between.

Every employee she guides has a unique situation, and all circumstances can influence the tax position. This makes her work very interesting in content. International employment relationships bring many challenges to employers.

Rianne finds it a challenge to make all tax obligations and opportunities as simple as possible, thereby relieving both employers and employees of these concerns.

How Rianne is building a better working world

“We contribute to the success of international work for both employer and employee by ensuring that all tax conditions are met and that matters are arranged as favorably as possible. Employers and employees do not need to worry about this. By providing value with knowledge of the rules and a focus on the individual, we contribute to this."
