Shanna advises clients on (procedural) tax law and, if desired, supports them in court. Her tax experience is diverse, and she is active in both indirect and direct taxes. She also regularly deals with tax procedures that have a civil or criminal law focus (for example: liabilities or fines).
Shanna studied tax law and criminal law at Tilburg University. She has spent half of her career working as an Attorney at Law and the other half as a deputy judge and legal researcher at the Supreme Court.
Shanna is a member of the Legislative Proposals Committee of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (NOB). She is also active as a writer and speaker. For instance, she conducts research on the national variant of the preliminary questions procedure.
