Tom Wiffrie is a Partner and Board Member of EY Assurance Netherlands. As an auditor, he has ultimate responsibility for audit engagements and serves as a strategic advisor to executive boards, supervisory boards, and audit committees.
Tom is known for his no-nonsense approach and sharp focus on what truly delivers results. He thrives in international environments and has developed deep expertise working with Japanese and U.S. clients, combining technical excellence with a strong understanding of cultural dynamics and collaboration.
As a member of the EY Assurance leadership team, Tom is responsible for Operations and Digital. In this role, he focuses on enhancing quality, efficiency, and innovation across the practice. Previously, he led EY’s Amsterdam Assurance practice.
Tom also leads the Japan Business Services practice across EY Europe West, coordinating integrated services across Assurance, Tax, Consulting, and EY-Parthenon. Through this role, he helps international organizations navigate growth, strengthen governance, and create long-term sustainable value.
