GHG Protocol consults on amendments to Scope 2 Guidance
On October 20, the GHG Protocol proposed amendments to Scope 2 Guidance and requested input on its Actions and Market Instruments workstream.
The proposed amendments to the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol Scope 2 Guidance (2015) would maintain the dual reporting requirement of both the location-based method and the market-based method, while introducing revisions to each method.
Stakeholders are encouraged to submit feedback by 19 December 2025.
