Work-related personnel mobility
Employers with a staff of 100 or more are required to report to the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) - by 1 July 2026 at the latest - their figures for work-related personnel mobility in 2025. This being a record of commuter and business travel kilometres, broken down by transport mode and type of fuel. In practice it appears that collating this mobility data takes time and requires coordination – particularly when there is no centralised registration system in place. If you have not yet started, it would be advisable to begin the process of considering and setting up a system now. This can help to avoid unnecessary time pressure as the deadline approaches.
