With more than 25 years of experience across assurance, risk, governance, and forensic advisory, Saman operates at the intersection of finance, law, and technology. He advises boards, CEOs, and executive leadership teams on fraud prevention, financial integrity, digital risk, and AI-enabled analytics.
Since joining EY Vietnam in 2007, he has led multidisciplinary practices spanning Insurance, Forensics, Technology Risk, and Global Financial Services (GFS) Assurance — helping organizations strengthen transparency, resilience, and stakeholder trust in complex regulatory environments.
Saman holds a PhD in Forensics, a Master of Laws (LLM), and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons). Currently, he holds memberships of prestigious and reputed accounting bodies such as ACCA, CA Sri Lanka, CA Singapore, CPA Australia, CPA Vietnam, and CPA Cambodia. He is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He currently serves as President of the ACFE Vietnam Chapter and as Global Ambassador of the Institute of Risk Management (UK) for Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.
