Pursuant to the Official Letter No. 1474/CACK TSN1 issued by the Tan Son Nhat International Airport border gate police from the Immigration Department under the Ministry of Public Security on 8 April 2026 and effective on 15 April 2026, all overseas Vietnamese entering Vietnam under a visa and foreign nationals are required to complete a pre arrival personal information declaration prior to entry at Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
Upon successful submission, a QR code will be generated. Passengers must present this QR code to immigration officers at Tan Son Nhat International Airport as part of the entry clearance procedures.
The pre arrival declaration may be completed online via the following link https://prearrival.immigration.gov.vn/, or by scanning the relevant QR code provided.
This requirement has been implemented to enhance the efficiency of immigration control processes and to facilitate a faster, more seamless entry experience for passengers traveling to Vietnam.
