Jens Frister - Partner of Business Consulting Finance at Germany
Jens is a Partner at EY’s 'Business Consulting – Finance' practice in Germany and is responsible for 'Finance Transformation Strategy & Value Architecture'. He focuses on helping finance organizations shape transformation strategies and roadmaps, and initiate their transformation journeys. Ross Lacey - EY Global Finance Transformation Strategy and Vision Leader
With over 16 years at EY and proven leadership track record, Ross currently leads Global Finance Consulting, spearheading the transformation of finance functions through digital innovation. He holds a BSc (Economics) from the London School of Economics, supported by early career experience in investment banking accounting.
Russell Strothers - Finance Transformation – Org Design Lead
I have 19 years’ experience in finance, having started my career in audit at KPMG before progressing through operational, commercial and Group finance roles in industry. I currently work at Rotork plc, a UK-headquartered multinational engineering group, leading the transition to a new finance operating model, including outsourcing transactional finance activities to a BPO partner. I’m married with two young children and enjoy cycling, hiking and gardening.
Thijs Engelen – Head of Finance, Business Line DUV at ASML
Thijs Engelen is Head of Finance for the DUV (Deep Ultraviolet) Business Line at ASML, where he leads the finance function and drives the financial performance of the business, representing approximately €16 billion in revenue and €1 billion in R&D spend. As a member of the Business Line management team, he focuses on positioning finance as a strategic enabler of business performance, balancing near‑term delivery with long‑term value creation in a highly capital‑intensive, cyclical, and innovation‑driven semiconductor environment.
Prior to his current role, Thijs founded and scaled ASML’s Business Insights & Control department, establishing a global finance insights capability supporting enterprise‑wide decision‑making as part of a broader finance transformation. He joined ASML in 2012 after starting his career at PwC. Thijs holds an MSc in Finance & Accounting and is a Certified Dutch Accountant and Certified Controller.
