AmChampion Awards 2023 - EY Bulgaria is a Large Corporate Category Winner
Large Corporate Category Winner is Ernst & Young Bulgaria. The award was received by Nikolay Garnev, Managing Partner for the Southern Cluster within the Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe and Central Asia region.
EY Bulgaria with second major award from the American Chamber of Commerce

- This is the second award for EY Bulgaria after receiving the award 4 years ago.
EY Bulgaria is once again among the companies with the greatest contribution. AmCham honored our team with an award for partnership and engagement. The recognition is in the "Large Corporations" category, in which a total of 121 companies are members of the chamber. EY Bulgaria won in competition with Dundee Precious Metals, IBM Bulgaria, Merck, Sharp, and Dohme Bulgaria, who were the other nominees for the statuette.
After winning the first edition in 2020, when EY Bulgaria grabbed the award for the most diverse activity, our team is now recognized as one of the most active members of the Chamber. Our experts are active in several committees – Milen Raykov heads the "Tax and Law" committee, Nevena Kovacheva heads the "Human Resources" committee, Svetlin Adrianov heads the "Rule of Law" committee, Boyan Rashev heads the ESG committee, and many other colleagues support the partnership by participating and engaging in various initiatives and events of the chamber.
The award was received by Nikolay Garnev, Managing Partner of EY for Southeast Europe. The award ceremony was part of the program of the Charity Dinner on the occasion of Charity Day, which took place on November 26, 2024. The event is traditional for the Chamber and was held for the 19th time, gathering over 330 guests.
The AmChampion awards date back to 2019. Their purpose is to publicly recognize the most active and engaged members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria for the previous year. The awards are for the Chamber's community, and in this way, the initiative focuses attention on those members who have been the most active in its activities. The evaluation is based on an analysis of performance in various areas of activity that all members engage in. Thus, based on solid criteria and reliable data, the awards express the Chamber's gratitude to all members.
