As EY Global Managing Partner – Client Service, Andy leads the execution of our global strategy. Andy has overall responsibility for our three geographic areas and four service lines, ensuring so that our 200,000 client servers can provide exceptional service wherever our clients do business. 

Prior to this, Andy was EY EMEIA Area Managing Partner where he played a key role in the formulation of the EY strategic priorities. He has a proven track record of successful business transformation, having led an exemplary execution of the global strategy within EMEIA. He was also Global Financial Services Leader for EY and the EMEIA Regional Managing Partner for six years, leading the business through the financial crisis of 2008. 

He began his career with EY in 1993 and has been a senior advisor for many of the largest EY clients. Previously he held leadership roles at Capgemini and IBM and has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry – focused primarily on the European market and insurance sector starting with Commercial Union, now part of Aviva.

He holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Cranfield University in the UK, as well as professional qualifications in marketing and risk from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and Chartered Insurance Institute respectively. 

How Andy is building a better working world

Andy is one of the senior leaders on our Corporate Responsibility Governance Council, focused on using our distinctive knowledge and experience to help solve society’s toughest challenges.

He also supports our UK Foundation program, Smart Futures, which was created to offer paid work experience and mentoring to young London students from underprivileged areas to improve their chances of securing employment in the city.
