He has over 30 years’ international experience living and working in Australia, Asia, Europe and the Middle East, namely Brisbane, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Moscow, Bangkok and Abu Dhabi.
Working in Asia for over 13 years, Stuart has completed engagements and built networks across the region, in particular, China Mainland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar.
He has a particular focus on assisting sovereign wealth funds, pensions, and private equity with their outbound and inbound M&A investment activities, handling tax due diligence and structuring engagements across multiple jurisdictions.
His experience includes advising foreign investors on their global expansion and investment into and from the jurisdictions and regions in which he has worked.
Stuart is a chartered accountant with the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
Stuart has a bachelor’s degree in Law and Commerce from the University of Queensland.
