Women in Transactions – Your Active Female Network
Do you wish to be part of a professional, informal and active network with like-minded people who share your interest in mergers and acquisitions? Women in Transactions is your chance to get to know more about Strategy and Transactions and EY.
Join EY’s active network Women in Transactions and create meaningful relations with dedicated women who have kick-started their careers in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).
By participating in Women in Transactions, you will be part of a network beyond the traditional ones. We aim to create a genuine bond in the group and get to know each other at an informal level by combining networking and learning about working in M&A with fun sport activities.
What we do in Women in Transactions
We offer you a meaningful female network where you can share your professional interests and receive honest insights into what it is like to work in a high-paced environment within the different departments of Strategy and Transactions at EY.
We will meet up six times from October to May. Each time we will try out new sports, such as floorball, hot yoga or crossfit. You are not expected to be athletic though – but simply up for a fun time. Each event will be combined with a cozy dinner with informal talks. To round off the evenings, we will discuss an M&A related topic or help you prepare for a job interview.
When you become a part of Women in Transactions, you will be paired with one of the women working in EY’s Strategy and Transactions for you to always have a go-to person.
You are eligible for participating in EY's Women in Transactions, if you are a student, currently finishing the last year of your bachelor’s degree, first or second year of your master’s degree or even have a few years of working experience. We expect you to be interested in the world of M&A and have an educational background within a relevant field (such as economics, finance, strategy or IT).
Most importantly, we do not expect you to be super athletic – you just need an open mindset in terms of trying new things and meeting new people.
Send us your application already today. The deadline is 30 September 2020 and the program kicks off in October 2020. Your application should include your resume, grade transcript and a letter of motivation describing why you are interested in M&A and would like to become a part of Women in Transactions.
Please do not hesitate to contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
