EY advises RC Plast A/S on its sale to Marius Pedersen A/S

Marius Pedersen A/S, a leading Danish environmental and waste treatment company, has announced the acquisition of RC Plast A/S.

RC Plast A/S is a Danish plastic waste recycling company with over 40 years of experience as a credible and environmentally aware partner in the plastic industry. They play an essential role in the sustainability agenda, as they recycle plastic and production waste from the plastic industry into customer-specific plastic granules, which can be reused in new products.

Simon Clausen, CEO of Marius Pedersen, said: “We are especially looking forward to welcoming all employees to Marius Pedersen A/S and we are excited to join as a new board of directors in RC Plast A/S and to continue the collaboration with CEO Helle Vingolf. Together, we will strengthen and embark on an exciting future with increased demand for collection and circularity of post-consumer plastic, increased customer requirements for digitization and documentation. At the same time, we have the opportunity to be part of a larger organization and a bigger value chain from collection and treatment to production of regenerated plastic, which can be used in the production of new plastic products.”
