Climate professional committed to tackling climate impact through data, science and innovation with a holistic approach to other environmental and social risks and opportunities.

Josefine assists companies in developing science-based climate strategies, and develop robust, reliable, and transparent greenhouse gas reporting. Moreover, she acts as technical expert on greenhouse gas accounting on EY Denmark’s assurance engagement, where she among other participates in EY’s internal clusters on ESRS E1 (Climate Change), developing internal guidelines for climate reporting and assurance.

Josefine has a master’s degree in Climate Change and a bachelor’s degree in Geography, both from Copenhagen University. She specializes in carbon accounting as well as climate entrepreneurship and innovation to drive climate action. One of her strong professional passions is science-based carbon removal strategy, with a focus on additionality, permanence, and co-benefits to people and the planet.
