• In the first case study, a leading bank has embarked on a transformative Generative AI (GenAI) journey across its services. To identify impactful use cases, the bank held AI-athons (hackathons), engaging diverse teams in brainstorming use cases and rapid prototyping. Parallel to these hackathons, pilot projects were launched to test promising GenAI applications in real banking environments. A “GenAI Starter Kit” iterative development has been ongoing which is equipping teams with tools and best practices to accelerate deployment. Simultaneously, a GenAI platform was built, providing scalable secure infrastructure to support compliant, enterprise-wide GenAI integration, paving the way for future AI-driven innovation in banking.
• In the second case study, we'll discuss how, with our AI tool, we have been helping clients to be compliant by the 17th of Jan '25 DORA implementation deadline.

We at EY decided early that both during compliance assessments against DORA as well as for specific implementation activities, the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) is key to meet the implementation deadlines for the DORA regulation, which is dated to the 17th of January 2025. We developed a DORA assessment tool that matches the individual DORA requirements to the institutions policy framework, which quite often consists of up to 100 different documents. Further AI implementation use cases are the completion of the information register of ICT third party relationships and many more requirements given in the regulation.

In our presentation, we will give you some background about the challenges, some insights into the solution architecture, and an impression of the results achieved.
