Päivi is the EY Finland IPO Leader and an Associate Partner at Strategy and Transactions. She has more than 10 years of experience advising companies executing strategic transactions and IPOs. Her work focuses on the IPO preparations as well as execution for companies of all sizes and industries.
Päivi leads teams providing IPO and exit readiness assessments, support for building IPO capability, advice in governance and financial process improvement, as well as due diligence services for IPOs and strategic transactions. Her specialty area is dual-track exit processes, where clients explore both IPO and M&A as strategic alternatives.
Päivi has a diverse background with further experience from auditing. Prior to her consultancy career she worked two years with technology development and commercialization.
Päivi earned a master’s degree in Accounting from Aalto University and a master’s degree in Engineering from Helsinki University of Technology. She is an Authorized Public Accountant.
