Not only serving as a Tax Partner in EY Indonesia, Ben is also the ASEAN Resources Tax Market Segment Leader and the International Transaction and Tax Services (ITTS) Leader.
At EY Indonesia, his responsibility is mainly focused on the resources sector (covering oil and gas, mining and metals, and chemicals), private equity, and e-commerce industry.
Before joining EY in 1995, Ben was a senior corporate commercial lawyer with a large Australian law firm, specializing in revenue law. He has completed practical legal training at the College of Law, Sydney, Australia.
He possesses combined Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws, and Master of Laws from University of Sydney, Australia, a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Finance from the Securities Institute of Australia and also an Australian Chartered Accountant.
How Ben is building a better working world
Ben has led a helping hand on complex pre-IPO and post-IPO structuring for numerous clients across various industries including banking, telecommunications, media, mining and pharmaceutical. Beyond his niche, Ben has also advised on several due diligence and advising work on e-commerce and micro financing by banks.
