We hereby announce the resignation of Kenji Amino, the current Managing Partner of Ernst & Young Tax Co. (Head office: Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo) and the appointment of Kazuhiro Ebina as his successor, effective 1 July 2019.
Mr. Ebina joined the firm's Tokyo office in 1998 during its previous iteration, Showa Ota Ernst & Young, and has since devoted his efforts to the tax consulting and tax compliance businesses, covering a wide range of the financial sector which includes banking and capital markets, insurance, investment advisory and investment funds.
Under the leadership of Mr. Ebina, we will meet the various needs of our clients in ways which allows us to respond to the ever-changing business environment by striving to further enhance our global services, focusing on client satisfaction and introducing more robustness to the structure of EY Japan. Furthermore, in addition to leveraging our tax expertise and knowledge to the fullest extent, we will continue to do our utmost to ensure that we make great contributions to the growth of our clients’ businesses in the capacity of trusted business advisor.
