EY Japan is pleased to announce the appointment of Moriaki Kida as our incoming Chairperson & CEO and Japan Regional Managing Partner (RMP), effective 1 July 2021. Koichi Tsuji, former EY Japan Chairman & CEO and Japan RMP, has stepped down from the role and retired from the EY partnership.

2013: Appointed Director of Japanese Business Services (JBS), Americas overseeing all EY professional services for Japan-headquartered clients doing business in the Area
2016: Appointed Japan Deputy Area Managing Partner
2019: Appointed Japan Regional Chief Operating Officer (COO)
2021: Appointed EY Japan new Chairperson & CEO and Japan Regional Managing Partner
