EY Japan Law welcomes Partner Dan Matsuda

We are proud to announce that Partner Dan Matsuda has joined EY Law Co. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Managing Partner Junzaburo Kiuchi) as of 1 April 2022. A Japanese bengoshi and New York law qualified, Mr. Matsuda has extensive experience in cross-border and domestic corporate and M&A transactions.

We are proud to announce that Partner Dan Matsuda has joined EY Law Co. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Managing Partner Junzaburo Kiuchi) as of 1 April 2022. A Japanese bengoshi and New York law qualified, Mr. Matsuda has extensive experience in cross-border and domestic corporate and M&A transactions.

Mr. Matsuda brings across a wealth of experience having advised clients in a variety of key sectors including energy, chemicals, medical device and pharmacy, automotive, real estate, and banking. 

Mr. Matsuda also provides regulatory advice, particularly for clients in the payment and fund transfer services business and related FinTech clients.  

Mr. Matsuda became a registered attorney in 2000, after receiving his LLB from the Waseda University School of Law in 1996 and later went on to obtain an LLM at the University of Virginia School of Law in 2004. Mr. Matsuda first became a partner at an international law firm in 2015.

Mr. Matsuda is registered under the Daini Tokyo Bar Association and as an attorney-at-law admitted in New York.
