EY Law Co. recognized in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2023 rankings
We are delighted to announce that EY Law Co. has become the first of the law practices amongst the “Big 4” accounting firms to be ranked in the Corporate and M&A field in Japan by The Legal 500.
Since 2017, under the steady leadership of the Managing Partner, Junzaburo (JB) Kiuchi, EY Law Co. has significantly broadened its practice areas. EY Law Co. now handles cross-border and domestic transactions, corporate and commercial law, labor and employment law, tax disputes, financial services law, real estate law, competition law and digital law, as well as Japan’s legal function consulting services. EY Law Co. has doubled in size, now equipped with a team of 22 qualified lawyers, six paralegals/trainees, and six business services members, and is aiming to continue growing and expanding the business.
This achievement highlights the effort of the entire EY Law Co. team, the relationships we have built with our clients, and our colleagues, without whom this would not have been made possible.
Further, EY Law Co. Managing Partner, Junzaburo (JB) Kiuchi has also been recognized as a “Leading Individual” in the 2023 Japan rankings by The Legal 500.
