Ryuichiro Umano is the leader of the EY ShinNihon Sustainability Disclosure Promotion Office.
He is a Japanese CPA. His international experience includes a secondment to EY London from 2007 to 2009. He currently provides assurance-related services to global companies in several sectors such as industry material, automotive, consumer and retail.
He drives long-term value-related promotional initiatives in Assurance at EY ShinNihon. As an external auditor at the EY Japan Long-term Value Promotion Office, he contributes to our clients' sustainability initiatives.
He is also a member of the Corporate Information Disclosure Committee and the Technical Committee of Assurance Practice at JICPA (the Japan Certified Public Accountant Association).
