Soichiro Yamamoto is an associate partner at EY Japan’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS).
Leveraging 10 years of working experience at the New York office of EY USA, he provides advisory services to multinational companies, primarily related to the CFO agenda and financial accounting, group management and financial reporting in post-M&A situations, US SEC IPO, and sustainability reporting.
He started his career with EY USA, offering assurance and accounting advisory. His wider experience beyond EY includes periods working in industry and advising clients in the banking and insurance sector.
He holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Oregon, USA and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Chuo University, Japan.
