Karim is a Partner in our FSO Consulting practice. He joined EY Luxembourg in January 2015, specializing in IT Risk & Assurance and IT regulations in the financial sector.
Prior to joining EY, Karim worked for year as internal control senior auditor in a major leading German chemical company, for 6 years for another Big 4 in Paris, and for 6 years as project leader for an IT company.
Karim holds a postmaster degree in finance from the University of Sorbonne, Paris.
He is CISA, CRISC, CISSP, ISO31000 and ITIL certified and member of ISACA and AABL in Luxembourg.
He is a native French speaker, and is also fluent in English, Italian and Arabic.

With an ever-changing IT regulatory landscape, it is Karim's team and his mission to assist our clients addressing the different IT regulatory matters (outsourcing, governance, Cloud computing). While being connected with our clients and bringing them real expertise, Karim also makes sure he helps his team members in growing professionally.
Karim does support nonprofit and humanitarian organizations. For one year, he volunteered in Asia (Thailand) and he was teaching English and IT to young learners. Quoting Sir W.C. Churchill “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give”.
